Intended Purpose
The SAS Vitrési is a semi-automated bench top electrophoresis and gel processing analyser. The SAS Vitrési automates sample application and conducts electrical power during agarose gel electrophoresis to separate the constituent fractions of human serum, cerebrospinal fluid, whole blood and urine samples at controlled temperatures. The component fractions within the gel are then visualised by staining onboard the system. The SAS Vitrési is to be used in conjunction with compatible Helena SAS products. Intended for use by trained laboratory professionals in a clinical laboratory.
